About

Nick is currently an Architect with Snow Kreilich Architects. As a young Architect, he seeks to design projects of cultural relevance, reflect local identity, advance vernacular building principles, and maintain strong environmental ethics. His work seeks to provide a timeless and responsible approach to architectural design, art, landscape, and ecology. Before joining Snow Kreilich Architects, Nick was an Architect in New York with WRNS Studio, a Design Associate with ORE Design + Technology and founded the 2A_eM Design Cooperative.

Nick graduated Magna Cum Laude, with his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, a minor in Sculpture and an Honors College degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He continued his education at Columbia University; exploring the processes of digital fabrication, working as the Exhibitions Assistant and as part of Team FY!’s Fy-Langes, a reconfigurable, digitally designed installation that was exhibited at the Figment Project New York Art Festival.

As an advocate for the three pillars of sustainability: economic, environmental and social responsibility, his final studio project focused on designing a system of metro stations that leverage Mumbai’s muggy weather by triggering the dew point to capture, produce, and distribute filtered water to local communities.

Fine art, particularly sculpture, continues to inform Nick’s creative process, while his commitment to sustainability drives his design ethos. His work reflects a keen awareness of the haptic and tactile qualities of architecture. His affinity for natural materials and his connection to art informs how he designs space: uniquely, creatively and with a focus on the environment. Nick seeks to evolve his architectural fluency, develop sustainable designs that employ a strong sense of craftsmanship, atmosphere and materiality; helping Snow Kreilich Architect’s clients achieve beautiful, functional, and healthy environments.
